Lemon Pearls, Bred by Ralph Moore, California 2003.

'Lemon Pearls'
This is another of the Ralph Moore Bracteata hybrids, introduced in Spring of 2003. Blessed with a wonderful sweet scent, this shrub will eventually build up to a 2.5 foot shrub. A little large for a true Miniature, it will probably be referred to in the future as a Miniflora.

No matter what you want to call it, this is a beautiful little rose with full, ruffled blooms of soft yellow that cover the plant nearly continuously. When I first saw this rose at Sequoia Nursery in 2000, I was most impressed. I bet you will be too!

ARS merit rating: NA
Personal merit rating: undecided
Hardiness: Likely USDA zones 6 through 10
Shrub size: approximately 2 to 2.5 feet.
Fragrance: 3.5, quite strong, very sweet scent.
