Ivory Palace, bred by Ralph Moore, USA 1990. Breeding; Sheri Anne X Pinocchio. I first saw this rose at Sequoia Nursery in April of '98, and I was very impressed with it! It produces well arranged clusters of blooms on a stately, well formed shrub. The blooms are about 1.5 inches across, with a wonderful soft Ivory-blush color at their hearts. As you can see, the blooms are very double, forming a flat flower as the petals reflex. It is not an exhibition form, rather, this is best grown as a small shrub in pots or at the front of a border. As far as I can tell, 'Ivory Palace' is a healthy, vigorous little rose that is free of diseases. Most of Ralph Moore's roses are fine shrubs that work well as garden specimens. I recommend them with enthusiasm! ARS
