Lavender Delight, bred by Ralph Moore, California 1993.

Lavender DelightThis soft violet colored miniature resulted from a cross of 'Orangeade' X 'Cherry Magic'. (a bright orange floribunda rose crossed with a deep red miniature.)

While mauve is not my favorite color, I have an appreciation for this tidy little rose, as it seems to grow and bloom without pausing for a single moment! The semi-double blooms are about 1.5 inches across, and open flat to show yellow stamens to good effect. The color holds very well, and it is a good candidate for either the garden or patio pots.

Disease resistance seems to be very good, and it is a very vigorous, but compact and shrubby rose.
