Jeanne
LaJoie, bred by Sima, USA 1975.
This
is a real workhorse of a rose! Jeanne LaJoie is classed as a climbing
miniature, although it will form a perfectly beautiful free standing
shrub if given the room and freedom. This is considered to be the best
of the climbing minis on the market right now. It is new to my collection,
so it is difficult to evaluate it further. I have only seen it growing
in friends gardens so far, and it makes an amazing, large vigorous shrub
up to 10 feet tall. I look forward to giving it lots of space to become
a free-form shrub.
Jeanne
LaJoie is available from The
Uncommon Rose.
