Incognito,
bred by Dennis Bridges, USA 1995.
This
rose is new to my collection last year. So far, I am not at all impressed
by its performance. I don't like the look of the plant, which is straggly
and irregular, and the blooms themselves go from bud stage to fully
open very fast. The open bloom is not at all attractive, and unless
it does better next June, it will get pitched. Lovely color though.
Perhaps some other people have had better results with 'Incognito'?
A
note to add in March of 2001: I have thrown this rose out, as it was
an underperformer for me. Its poor growth habit, and fleeting beauty
made my mind up. Out she goes!!!!!!
