Pélisson,
bred by Vibert, France 1849.
Also
known as 'Monsieur Pélisson'. A lovely Moss
rose typical of its period of breeding, with fully double, fluffy pink
blooms that have an excellent fragrance. The foliage is smallish and
somewhat coarse, like most of the smaller Centifolia Mosses. Each bloom
is no more than three inches in diameter, borne in clusters and occasionally
one-to-a-stem. A lovely, if somewhat ordinary Moss Rose. Still, well
worth a place in any serious collection of Moss Roses.
