Marbrée seedling #4. Bred by Paul Barden, 1998.

Marbrée seedling #4

This is the fourth of five seedlings from Marbrée, the Damask Perpetual bred by Robert-Moreau in 1858. Semi-double 3 inch blooms of medium rose pink display moderate white spotting. There is also a pleasing light Damask fragrance.

This is still a small plant which has not shown to be remontant yet, which may or may not exhibit as it gets older. It is still very much under evaluation.

ARS merit rating: N.A.
Personal merit rating: undecided
Hardiness: USDA zones 5 to 8, possibly zone 4 in a protected location.
Shrub size: unknown.

Fragrance: 3.0 Fairly intense Damask fragrance.
