Indigo has been described as being either bluish-violet, deep violet, dark purple, or even dark grenadine in hue. In truth, it can present all of these tints. With its rich coloring 'Indigo' is absolutely unique in the Damask Perpetual class, and we are lucky to have such a richly colored rose making its way back into commerce. Blooms are often more double than they appear here, and have a rich dark scent that goes well with the coloring.

Like the rest of the Damask Perpetuals, 'Indigo' is considered to be fully remonant, producing bloom in flushes throughout the season. It is not uncharacteristic to see four or perhaps five bloom cycles in a year.

This is a very nice rose that offers the best features of its class; compact growth habit, repeat bloom, along with rich coloring and fragrance. What more could you want?!
