'La Ville de Bruxelles'. Bred by Vibert, France 1849.

This is a very fine example of the Damask clan, and one of the best should you decide to grow only one or two. Very finely formed medium to light pink blooms are freely produced on this strudy, well shaped shrub. The fragrance is pure Damask..sweet and quintessential rose!

This is a new rose in my collection last summer, and so I cannot offer much in the way of commentary yet. It was quick to establish, appears to be completely disease free, and produced a couple of very fine, highly scented blooms. I look forward to seeing its performance this coming spring.
