Marbrée seedling #2. Bred by Paul Barden, 1998.

Marbree seedling #2This is the second of five seedlings from Marbrée, the Damask Perpetual bred by Robert-Moreau in 1858. Fully double 3.5 inch blooms of medium rose pink display heavy white spotting, much more than the parent plant. There is also a pleasing light Damask fragrance.

Of the five seedlings that have bloomed so far, this one has shown some repeat blooming after the first flush. That's fine with me, as this is the one I like most of the bunch!
