'Lemon Pearls', bred by Ralph Moore, California, 2003.

'Lemon Pearls'
Breeding: "1-72-1" X 'Out of Yesteryear'.

From the Sequoia Nursery catalog for 2003: "A new Bracteata shrub with old fashioned grace and charm. The yellow buds open to soft yellow 2 inch, full double flowers. Fragrant, disease resistant plant grows into a small shrub to 3 feet, spreading to 2 feet. Can be grown in a large pot, or in the garden. Quantities are limited for 2003, so please order early to guarantee availability. 2 to 2.5 inch blooms on a 24 to 36 inch shrub."

I have not grown this rose, but I have seen the parent plant of this in bloom at Sequoia and I'm looking forward to growing this rose in the coming season.
