Honorine de Brabant, breeder and date of introduction unknown. This rose is considered to be one of the best remontant Bourbons, producing a huge early Summer display, with some bloom throughout the Summer, and another large flush in the Fall. Individual blossoms are 3 to 4 inches across, loosely cupped with reddish-mauve stripes on a pale pink background. There is a very nice, but not overly powerful fragrance. The shrub is quite large, growing to 6 feet tall and about as wide, at least in milder climates. I'm not sure how Winter hardy this rose is in zone 5, so you'll have to find out for yourself. This also happens to be one of the more disease resistant Bourbons. (Generally the Bourbons have poor resistance to Blackspot) ARS
