Rosa wichuraiana variegata, China. Date of discovery uncertain.

Here is one of the most unusual and spectacular species roses I know! A climber/rambling rose of large proportions. This plant will happily spread along the ground if not supported. The variegated foliage is a genetic trait and not the result of virus infection. It is also know in commerce as 'Curiosity'.
