Crépuscule,

This shrub is certainly not for a small city garden, unless you are determined to prune it constantly. It will form a freestanding shrub of about 8 X 8 feet, or can be trained as a climber to about 12 feet tall. If grown as a freestanding shrub, I am told it will form a very graceful shape. This is how I plan on treating mine. It appears to be completely disease free, with shiny dark green foliage that is very reminiscent of the Teas. The growth is very twiggy, and nearly thornless. The fragrance is also Tea-like; strong and fruity, with a hint of tobacco, or camphor. Its a very pleasant scent, trust me! As you can see, the blooms are loosely double, about 4" across, and a rich apricot and buff-honey color. This is a very beautiful rose! ARS

'Crépuscule'
is a very beautiful member of the Noisette group, and for some reason,
is rarely seen in commerce. I acquired 'Crépuscule' a year ago as a
cutting from a friend, so I must limit my comments to my observations
of the parent plant.
